CBS rolls on Monday

CBS dominated its primetime competish on Monday, according to preliminary nationals from Nielsen, sweeping the night’s half-hours in adults 18-49 and total viewers behind original episodes of its comedies and drama “CSI: Miami.”

CBS’ “Everybody Loves Raymond” emerged as the night’s top-rated program in adults 18-49 (6.8/17, 18.8 million viewers overall) for the first time since December. “Raymond” led its slot by 8 shares in 18-49 and by 9 shares in adults 25-54 over runner-up “Third Watch” on NBC.

The Eye also received winning perfs from “King of Queens” (4.8/13 in adults 18-49, 13.4 million viewers), “Yes, Dear” (5.2/13 in adults 18-49, 13.8 million), “Still Standing” (5.7/14 in adults 18-49, 15.4 million viewers) and “CSI: Miami” (6.5/17 in adults 18-49, 16.7 million viewers). “Miami” topped NBC’s “Crossing Jordan” (4.0/11 in adults 18-49, 10.1 million viewers) by 62% in adults 18-49, and more than tripled ABC’s “Miracles” (1.8/5 in adults 18-49, 5.0 million viewers).

Second-place NBC was led by a repeat of “Fear Factor” (4.4/12 in adults 18-49), while third-place Fox was paced by “Boston Public” (3.5/9 in adults 18-49) and a slight uptick for reality skein “Married by America” (3.4/8 in adults 18-49).

ABC struggled once again with an hour of news at 8 (2.5/7 in adults 18-49) followed by an original “The Practice” that ran a distant fourth at 9 (2.8/7).

Preliminary 18-49 averages for the night: CBS, 5.9/15; NBC, 4.1/11; Fox, 3.4/9; ABC, 2.4/6.

In total viewers: CBS, 15.8 million; NBC, 10.3 million; Fox, 7.7 million; ABC, 7.1 million.
