Lifetime drama adds thesps for fourth season
HOLLYWOOD — Lifetime has added Yancey Arias (“Kingpin”) and Jon Tenney (“Brooklyn South”) to the cast of the cabler’s San Francisco-set police drama “The Division.”
Arias replaces Jose Yenque as Gabe, the husband of Lisa Vidal’s character Magda. Tenney has been cast as police sketch artist Hank Riley.
Thesps start their recurring roles in January with the premiere of the show’s fourth season.
“Both of these men are accomplished actors, and the entire cast is looking forward to working with them,” senior VP of programming Kelly Goode said.
Bonnie Bedelia, Nancy McKeon, Vidal, Taraji P. Henson, Tracey Needham, Jon Hamm and Amy Jo Johnson also star in the series created and exec produced by Deborah Joy Levine.
“The Division” airs Sundays at 9 p.m.
Arias has also joined the cast of PBS’ multigenerational hour “American Family.” He recently appeared in Simon Wells’ “The Time Machine” and guest starred on “CSI: Miami” and “The Shield.”
Tenney’s credits include the feature “You Can Count on Me” and appearances on the TV series “Will & Grace,” “Kristin” and “Murphy Brown.”
