MGM unleashes canine pic

'Boy' makes for 'Good' Gotham bow

Cats ran for cover Saturday at the premiere of MGM’s “Good Boy!”

Canine kiddie pic, about a dog from outer space who befriends a pre-teen loner, debuted at the Wadsworth and the Village before a packed party full of acrobatic, Frisbee-catching pups kicked off on the VA campus.

Stumping for the pooches were MGM’s Chris McGurk, Peter Adee, Erik Lomis and Michael Nathanson; producers Lisa Henson and Kristine Belson; director John Hoffman; and stars Kevin Nealon, Liam Aiken, Brittany Moldowan, Carl Reiner and Donald Faison.

Also on a tight leash were guests Fred Willard, Frances Fisher, Antonio Sabato Jr., Jeri Ryan and legal eagle Gloria Allred, who was presumably there to pass out business cards in case anyone suffered a bite.
