‘Matrix’ lands in London

Weather doesn't short-circuit pic's fans

Rain could not dampen the spritis of fans or filmmakers at the London bow of “The Matrix Reloaded” on May 21.

“I’m sorry it’s so rainy, but it feels like a sunny day to me,” said producer Joel Silver. By the end of the week (May 22), the film had grossed a worldwide cume just shy of $164 million.

Keanu Reeves signed autographs for a half-hour before the premiere despite the downpour, saying that he was “blown away” by the turnout.
