Duff show set to become next Disney franchise
HOLLYWOOD — “Lizzie” sent Hollywood into a tizzy Saturday night.It was teen chaos at El Capitan, where fans lined up 10 deep to catch a glimpse of star Hilary Duff at the “Lizzie McGuire” preem. Mouse House’s Dick Cook called “Lizzie” fever a “complete phenomenon” and said everything is in place for the Disney Channel skein and movie to become the next Disney franchise. With the pic taking place in Rome, the food at the after-party was, natch, Italian. Noshing on pizza were pic’s Robert Carradine, Yani Gellman and Jake Thomas and guests Tim Allen, Jane Seymour, Beau Bridges and Penny Marshall.
