Revelers bid adieu to long-running cult skein
HOLLYWOOD — Vampires, wiccans and killed-off characters were the order of the night at Friday night’s “Buffy” wrap party for the cast and crew. Most “Buffy” stalwarts came out to the Miauhaus bash, except for the Vampire Slayer herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar, who was on “Scooby-Doo 2” duty.
Revelers milled about sipping drinks like the Bloody Buffy in a goodbye party that was far from a wake.
Anthony Stewart Head, who arrived at the party with his daughters, called the cult skein “a blast from beginning to end.”
Revelers included creator Joss Whedon, producers Marti Noxon and David Greenwalt; 20th Century Fox TV’s Gary Newman and cast members Alyson Hannigan, Nicholas Brendon, Seth Green, James Marsters, Alexis Denisof, Emma Caulfield, Amber Benson, Juliet Landau, D.B. Woodside, Michelle Trachtenberg, Kristine Sutherland, Danny Strong, Thomas Lenk and Julie Benz.
