Reality sets in at New Line pic preem

HOLLYWOOD — “The Real Cancun” bowed with white sand in lieu of the red carpet Thursday night at the Egyptian, with a conspicuous lack of recognizable faces willing to get their feet sandy. Some brought their parents and others wouldn’t be caught dead with them, as the reality pic caught them in the throws of spring break debuachery.

Tequila shots flowed at the Las Palmas after-party, where the cast of unknowns bubbled over with enthusiasm at the possibilities of reality stardom. Also on hand: New Line’s Bob Shaye, producers Mary-Ellis Bunim, Jonathan Murray, co-producer Jamie Schutz and helmer Rick deOliveira.
