Bravo’s a ‘Straight’ shooter

Series stars, producers party at Chelsea Hotel

Gay and straight alike packed in to Serena, the cramped hipster cellar beneath the Chelsea Hotel, on Monday night for a coming-out party of sorts for the five stars of the Bravo series “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.” The show features hopelessly hetero males who get (almost) the full treatment from the quintet of style connoisseurs.

“Adam didn’t know how to shave!” confessed “grooming guy” Kyan Douglas, looking debatably straight in a stiff white shirt and narrow black suit. “He didn’t know you need a moveable head with two blades.”

“Culture guy” Jai Rodriguez sang along to “Billie Jean.” A woman introduced herself. “You’ve got good hands,” he said. “I know. Hands are my expertise.”

Guests included “Queer” executive producers David Collins and David Metzler and Bravo executive producer Frances Berwick.
