ROME — The giddy “Charlie’s Angels 2: Full Throttle” express landed on Rome’s Spanish Steps July 3, where the stars made their way down to the piazza prancing and giggling like the self-declared best friends they are.
Producer Leonard Goldberg joined his “angels” on the fourth stop of the pic’s Euro tour — after London, Paris and Madrid — and pronounced his leading ladies “rambunctious.”
Diaz wore an orange gladiator-inspired minidress with gold jewelry in honor of the Italo stop. “It’s very Roman!,” she exclaimed. “I wore shoes that wrap around my ankle just for ‘the cause.'” Barrymore, meanwhile, espoused a hippie motto befitting her garb, saying: “I just want to walk around and live in the city and feel the sexy love!”
After a weekend in Rome, the trio continued on to Berlin, the next whistle stop in the promo juggernaut.
