Stacey Lane, owner-operator for the past 20 years of Stacey Lane, A Talent Agency, representing children in the theatrical and television industry, died Saturday April 26 in L.A. after a fall and surgery. She was 79.
A graduate of the New England Drama Conservatory, Stacey Lane toured with the USO extensively during the 1940s as Stacey Clyde, impressionist/comedienne.
During this time, she met and married arranger-composer Ivan Lane, who remained her husband for 54 years until her death.
Besides supporting her husband on his various films, stage and Ice Capades projects, she was mother and manager to her son, Scott Lane, former child star of NBC series “McKeever & the Colonel.”
For the last 20 years, she was owner-operator of the Stacey Lane, A Talent Agency,.
Survivors include her husband, sons Scott and Linnard, a daughter-in-law and two grandchildren.
