Sari Price, American actress who later who moved to Norway, died Oct. 14 in Oslo of a heart attack. She was 70.
Price began her professional career at age 17 in New York, where she studied with Sandy Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse and roomed with thesp Shirley Jones, who became a lifelong friend.
She worked in New York theater and then moved to Hollywood, where she appeared on television and in feature films. She guested on television shows including “Gidget,” “The Andy Griffith Show,” “The Partridge Family,” “Charlie’s Angels” and “Dynasty.”
Price also appeared in miniseries and TV movies such as “Eleanor and Franklin,” “Amelia Earhart” and “Angel Dusted.” Her feature films included “Lifeguard” and Norwegian pics “Orion’s Belt” and “Hold My Heart.”
She is survived by a son.
