Peter Miller, screen and TV actor whose career spanned three decades, died Oct. 7 of cancer at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica. He was 73.

Miller appeared in films from the 1950s to the ’70s, including “Blackboard Jungle,” “Rebel Without a Cause,” “Forbidden Planet” and Robert Altman’s “The Delinquents.”

He also guested on TV shows including “Dr. Kildare” and had a recurring role on “General Hospital.”

Miller is survived by wife Charlene, a daughter, three grandsons and a great-grandson.

Services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 15 at St. Paul Apostle, 10750 Ohio Ave., West Los Angeles, at 11 a.m.
