Stunt driver Michael Bondelli died Thursday Oct. 14 in Hawthorne, Calif. of a heart attack. He was 46.
Bondelli created the Bondelli Precision Driving Team, which worked on feature films, television shows and in commercials. He was stunt coordinator on films including “Stuart Little II” and was a driver in films including “A Man Apart,” “Daredevil” and “Speed.” In television, he worked on shows from “ChiPs” to “The West Wing.”
At the time of his death, he was working on the Tom Cruise film “Collateral.”
He is survived by his wife, Lisa; his father, TV director Phil Bondelli; his mother; brother Roger, a film and TV editor; two other brothers and two sisters.
