Hermione K. Brown, partner at Beverly Hills entertainment law firm Gang, Tyre, Remer & Brown for over 50 years, died Tuesday in her home. She was 87.
Brown attended Wellesley College and USC Law School, where she edited the Law Review and graduated first in her class. She went on to become one of the first women to be named partner in an American law firm. Over the course of her career she counseled such Hollywood luminaries as Steven Spielberg, Clint Eastwood, Janet Jackson and Marilyn Monroe. Dedicated to her firm and her clients, Brown never retired and continued to practice law well into her final year.
Brown is survived by three sons, and several daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in L.A. today at 4 p.m. at Mt. Sinai Memorial Park.
