HOLLYWOOD — Warner Bros. Domestic TV Distribution has upped longtime sales exec Roseann Cacciola to senior VP and general sales manager. Division is expanding its operations, forming a West Coast-based media sales unit to be headed by Marisusan Trout, who will serve as director of the region.
Exec VP of media sales Michael Teicher also announced the division has added Phil Peters as VP for the Midwest region.
Trio handles all advertising sales for Warner Bros.’ firstrun and off-net programming, including frosh strips “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and “The Sharon Osbourne Show,” as well as syndie entries “Friends,” “Will & Grace” and “Access Hollywood.”
Gotham-based Cacciola, who will report to Teicher, will oversee the unit’s day-to-day operations and manage the East Coast sales staff. Cacciola joined Warner Bros. in 1986 as a media analyst and recently served as VP of media sales.
Peters, based in Chicago, joined the company from Regal CineMedia, where he was account director for Midwest sales. He previously was sales VP for FremantleMedia.
Trout worked at Vivendi Universal Networks-Flipside, where she was a sales director. She also has held positions at Magnet Marketing, the Hallmark Channel, College Network Television and Discovery Communications.
