TV agent Scott Seidel has a new home, jumping to Endeavor from ICM.
Seidel will serve in Endeavor’s television department. He had been with ICM since 1998, working in the tenpercentary’s TV literature and packaging departments.
“It was a great six years over there, and I have a lot of respect for my colleagues and affection for all of them,” Seidel said.
But the agent said he was drawn to the opportunity of working with members of Endeavor’s senior team — one of whom, Paul Haas, originally hired him at ICM.
Prior to ICM, Seidel spent two years inside the TV department at the Agency for the Perfoming Arts.
“Scott has established himself as a fine agent, working with some of the best writers and directors in town,” the Endeavor partners said in a statement.
Seidel’s ICM clients included Aron Abrams and Greg Thompson (“King of the Hill”), Rob Bailey (“The Wire”), Jim Hanna (“The Dennis Miller Show”), Dennis Klein (“The Larry Sanders Show”) and Simon Mirren (“Without a Trace”).
An Endeavor spokesman said it was not clear yet how many of Seidel’s clients would join him at his new shop, although Seidel said several had agreed to move over.
