MTV has upped Carol Eng to senior VP of original programming.
Gotham-based Eng will continue to report to John Miller, exec VP of series and animation. She will direct development in New York as well as oversee current production of skeins including “Fraternity Life,” “Real World” and “Sorority Life.”
“The programming she has overseen has led to great ratings growth that ultimately reflects the audience’s satisfaction,” said Miller. “We will further rely on her critical talents as we continue to push creative limits.”
A 15-year veteran of MTV, Eng began her career at the network in the production department. She switched over to original series in 1996, supervising shows such as “Fanatic,” “Jackass” and “The Tom Green Show.”
