Oscar winner leaves ICM; Biderman thriller up next

Writer-director Neil Jordan has signed with the William Morris Agency.

Jordan, who had been repped by ICM for nearly two decades, most recently directed “The Good Thief,” which stars Nick Nolte and was released Friday by Fox Searchlight.

Jordan now is attached to direct the untitled Ann Biderman thriller for Warner Bros. Pictures and Section Eight.

The filmmaker won an Oscar in 1993 for original screenplay with “The Crying Game” and received an Oscar nomination for directing that film.

Jordan received a BAFTA Award for his adapted screenplay for “The End of the Affair” and won the Golden Lion at the 1996 Venice Film Festival for “Michael Collins.”
