Creative Artists Agency announced Thursday that Kevin Gelbard has joined the percentery from Anschutz Entertainment Group’s Envision subsid.
He will be responsible for developing corporate partnerships for CAA clients, focusing on opportunities in the music area.
A 10-year veteran of the entertainment and sports marketing industries, Gelbard most recently served as VP of sales for Envision, where he had been since 2000. Gelbard managed Envision’s naming rights and property representation divisions, working to increase sponsorship levels for clients that included the Los Angeles Dodgers, the L.A. Kings, the L.A. Galaxy, and the Staples Center.
Previously, he headed sponsorship efforts for the Dodgers for four years and worked as an executive in minor league baseball. Earlier in his career, Gelbard worked with the California Angels and sports marketing agency DelWilber & Associates.
