NBC Enterprises has named Betsy Braun VP of programming and development and tapped Alan Seiffert VP of business affairs.
Gotham-based Braun will oversee production on NBC syndie series “The John Walsh Show.” She joins the Peacock’s syndie division from Telepictures Prods., where she was director of current programming.
Before her work at Telepictures, Braun was VP of research at Universal Worldwide Television.
She’ll report to Linda Finnell, senior VP of programming and development for NBC Enterprises.
Seiffert will report to NBC Enterprises exec VP Jon Hookstratten.
He’ll oversee negotiation of deals for NBC Enterprises’ worldwide firstrun programming and distribution activities, including domestic syndication, international television, homevideo, music, new media, licensing and merchandising. He’ll also coordinate with other Peacock divisions to maximize the value of NBC properties in ancillary markets.
Seiffert, who is relocating from New York City to Los Angeles, joins NBC Enterprises from the National Basketball Assn., where he was assistant general counsel in the NBA’s Gotham headquarters.
Before his stint at the NBA, Seiffert spent six years working for Fox Entertainment Group in Los Angeles.
