Animation DIC Entertainment has beefed up its booming consumer products division with several appointments and promotions, led by Vincent Marchica as VP of creative and Cindy Davis as VP of domestic licensing.
Ryan Gagerman has been promoted to exec director of international licensing, Kathy DeGennero has been named senior designer and Heather Fuscellero becomes director of retail.
Marchica will oversee the creative development of DIC licensed merchandise, overseeing products connected to such properties as “Strawberry Shortcake,” “Madeleine” and “Knights of the Zodiac.” DeGennero will manage design and development of the company’s “soft-line” merchandise categories.
Davis will oversee branding, licensing and marketing for all of DIC’s properties. Gagerman, who reports to Davis, will manage licensing programs in Europe, Latin America, Canada and Asia. Fuscellero also will report to Davis; she will oversee retailer relationships.
“Our new team reflects DIC’s ongoing effort to further solidify its position as a global leader in the children’s consumer products market,” said Nancy Bassett, DIC’s senior VP for worldwide consumer products.
