It’s the best Emmy Award ever.Hank Azaria, who supplies a slew of voices to “The Simpsons,” has snagged this year’s Emmy for voiceover performance, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced Monday. Azaria won for the seg “Moe Baby Blues,” in which hard-boiled bartender Moe takes a shine to baby Maggie. In addition to Moe, Azaria gives voices to “Simpsons” characters such as Comic Book Guy and Chief Wiggum. Thesp has won in the voiceover category twice before; he snagged an Emmy for his supporting perf in the ABC telepic “Tuesdays With Morrie.” Emmy isn’t done with Azaria, though: Thesp is up as guest actor in a comedy for his work last season on “Friends.” The voiceover award is a juried kudo, which means there were no nominees in the category. ATAS also announced two winners for the individual achievement in animation category Monday. Layout artist Dan Krall and production designer Scott Wills were honored for their work on Cartoon Network’s “Samurai Jack.” Maciek Albrecht also won for work on two segments of HBO’s “Through a Child’s Eye: Sept. 11, 2001.” All four winners will receive their kudos at next month’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
