Cohn to top co. which will focus on talent, lit clientelle
HOLLYWOOD — Arthouse Entertainment has pacted with Michael Sugar Entertainment to form management concern Acronym Entertainment.
Sugar and Arthouse owner Laina Cohn will lead the Beverly Hills-based company. Acronym will focus on the management of talent and literary clients and the production of movies and TV shows. Also joining the fold from Arthouse is talent manager Richard Kerner.
“Michael Sugar brings great knowledge and experience of the business and a strong passion for client representation,” said Cohn. Acronym’s client roster includes thesps Julie Cox, Leo Fitzpatrick and Amy Locane, TV writer Josslyn Luckett and multihyphenates Danny Huston and Stuart Gillard.
Before operating Arthouse, Cohn was a manager at Intrepid Artists.
Sugar produced the telefilm “A Separate Peace” and was the creator and exec producer of the Game Show Network series “WinTuition.”
