Touchstone TV ups 5 to VP

Exex to o'see physical prod'n for assigned series, pilots

Touchstone Television has upped five longtime production department executives to VP level.

Jim Gaston, Brenda Kyle and Victoria LaFortune have been promoted to veepees of production, while Michael Villegas and Paula Warner-Schlenker have been elevated to veepees of post production.

All production execs oversee physical production for assigned series and pilots. Gaston, who has been with Touchstone since 1994, will oversee production of “Alias” and “Hope & Faith.” Kyle oversees “10-8” as well as midseasoners “Line of Fire” and “Stephen King’s Kingdom Hospital.” She joined The Walt Disney Company in 1996. LaFortune has been with Touchstone since 1995 and will now oversee “Scrubs,” “Threat Matrix” and “Taranus.”

On the post-production side, Villegas will oversee post work for 10 Touchstone skeins including “Alias,” “8 Simple Rules,” “According to Jim” and “Scrubs.” He joined Walt Disney Pictures and Television in 1985.

Warner-Schlenker will oversee post on “Hope & Faith” and “Line of Fire.” She joined the company in 1998 and had been serving as director of post-production since 2001.

Additionally, Mark Greenberg and Jean Hester have been boosted to directors of production and production operations, respectively. Both joined Touchstone Television in 2002.

All seven execs report directly to Barry Jossen, senior VP of Production.
