NEW YORK — TNT and TBS have created the new post of senior VP of programming for both networks and promoted Ken Schwab to fill it.
Schwab’s mandate is to coordinate the programming operation of the two networks, supervising Bill Cox, senior VP of programming for TBS, and Phil Oppenheim, VP of programming for TNT.
Another executive getting a promotion is Jennifer Dorian, who takes on the new role of senior VP of branding and business development for TBS and TNT. Reporting to Dorian is Molly Battin, VP of branding for TBS.
For marketing, Laura Dames gets the third promotion, to senior VP of marketing operations for TBS and TNT, working closely with Turner’s network sales department. Two marketing executives will now report to Dames, Julie Crow and Nicole Lucas, as will the programming operations exec Liz Schwab.
In their new roles, Ken Schwab, Dorian and Dames will all report to Steve Koonin, who’s executive VP and chief operating officer of TNT and TBS.
Schwab’s previous title was senior VP of programming, acquisitions and new media for TNT. Dorian’s was VP of brand development for TNT, and Dames’ was VP of marketing operations for TNT.
