Singer-songwriters to drive around in Chevy trucks, eat McDonald's

Chevrolet and McDonald’s have inked brand integration deals with USA Network’s “Nashville Star.”

Reality skein, a collaboration between cabler, Ben Silverman’s Reveille shingle and Universal Music Group, bowed March 8 and revolves around a nationwide talent search for aspiring country singer-songwriters.

Under the terms of the venture, Chevy Silverado trucks will be the main mode of transportation for the show’s 12 finalists, as well crew members, while in Nashville.

Finalists will also spend on-air time chowing down on McDonald’s food.

“Nashville Star” is exec produced by George Verschoor (“The Real World”) and his Noosick Falls Prods. company. Show wraps May 4.
