Sony retools kiddie lab

Tykes edit trailers at ceremony

Friday morning marked the unveiling of the revamped Sony Wonder Technology Lab, first opened in 1994 to teach kids about media and technology.

Gotham Mayor Michael Bloomberg and local school children joined Sony honchos Nobuyuki Idei and Howard Stringer at the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Despite early ayem event, Sir Howard good-naturedly cracked, “It cost us a lot of money — which I’ll never mention.”

All three then gathered ’round to watch the kids edit their own trailers with clips from Sony features.
