Here’s the naked truth about Fox’s Monday bash to launch the new Jerry Bruckheimer drama “Skin”: It was hot — literally.
Someone forgot to turn on the A/C at the event, which was held at the industrial space on Ivar and was packed with skein stars and execs. There weren’t too many complaints about the temperature, since most partygoers were focused on the ample eye-candy on display.
Party featured actual pole dancers strutting their stuff wearing next to nothing. The main room boasted several well-proportioned female dancers, while an even more scandalous back room drew attention for a stage show featuring one shirtless man dirty dancing with two females.
Theme was expected, given that “Skin” is a Romeo & Juliet story set against the backdrop of the LA porn biz. Invites to the event even included bars of see-through soap.
“Skin” stars DJ Cotrona, Olivia Wilde, Ron Silver, Pamela Gidley and Kevin Anderson were all present. Also enjoying the strip club vibe and the Red Bull-powered cocktails were Fox TV Entertainment Group chairman Sandy Grushow and a dance-happy Fox Entertainment prexy Gail Berman, along with Warner Bros. TV prexy Peter Roth, Bruckheimer Television’s Jonathan Littman, plus Fox’s Craig Erwich and Peter Johnson.
