Gaming chips, blackjack, roulette on hand for after screening
Fox Searchlight extended its gamble on Nick Nolte‘s latest pic to its post-screening soiree Monday night in Hollywood.
Aud members exiting the DGA theater after “The Good Thief” unspooled were handed gaming chips to use in the lobby, which took on the appearance of a casino with blackjack tables and roulette wheels spinning.
“The film is about a guy who gets himself where he deserves to get lucky,” helmer Neil Jordan said. Pic’s Nolte, Tcheky Karyo, and newcomer Nutsa Kukhianidze were on hand, along with producer John Wells, and Fox Searchlight Pictures prexy Peter Rice. Other faces in the audience included Jake Gyllenhaal, Kirsten Dunst, Antwone Fisher and Nolte’s actor son Brawley.
