Par ad unit taps Montoya

VP to oversee national syndication sales

HOLLYWOOD — Paramount Advertiser Services, the inhouse ad sales unit of Paramount Domestic Television, has tapped Paul Montoya its senior VP/general sales manager.

Montoya, who reports to PAS prexy Marc Hirsch, joined the division in September as veep of sales and new business development.

In his new capacity, Montoya will oversee national syndication sales for the unit, which is responsible for developing relationships with advertisers, ad-supported new media and international projects.

“In the short time he has been at Paramount, Paul has brought enthusiasm, new ideas and a high degree of professionalism to the position,” Hirsch said. “All of these attributes will be taken full advantage of now that he’s running the sales force.”

Before joining Paramount, Montoya spent 10 years at Warner Bros. Domestic Television, most recently as senior vice prexy for advertiser sales and new business development. He previously was sales director for Tribune Entertainment Co.
