Nick spinoff bows ‘gamertainment’ shows

Segs will incluce interactive aspects, sketch comedy

Nickelodeon spinoff digital channel Nick Gas will debut two vidgame-oriented half-hour shows beginning this Saturday.

“Game Farm” will introduce what the channel unfortunately calls “gamertainment,” combining sketch comedy with game-show challenges taken from current vidgames, including a tournament featuring four players. It also will include some interactive TV aspects, allowing viewers to take on the show’s in-house game experts. “Play2Z” will be a magazine show focusing on new vidgame releases.
