Thesp Julianne Nicholson (“Presidio Med”) has landed the co-lead on HBO’s upcoming Steven Bochco series “Marriage.”
Nicholson will star as a wife who finds herself in a dysfunctional relationship. “Marriage” will be set completely inside a New York City apartment, with all action taking place in just the bedroom, bathroom and closet.
The actress’s recent credits include the indie films “Tully” and “Passion of Mind.” On TV, she appeared in the telepic “I’m With Lucy,” and Fox’s “Ally McBeal.” Nicholson is repped by CAA and Benderspink.
HBO has ordered 13 episodes of “Marriage,” which is expected to bow in 2004. Bochco and Alison Cross exec produce, while Michael Apted is onboard to direct. Jonathan Cake previously joined the cast as Nicholson’s character’s husband.
