MGM promotes pair to sr. VPs, publicity

Execs to develop, o'see projects from production to release

MGM has upped publicity execs Debra Nathin Solomons and Andrew Bernstein to senior VPs, reporting to senior vice prexy of publicity Eric Kops. They will continue to be responsible for developing and overseeing campaigns for Lion pics from production to release.

“They’ve both done an incredible job during their time at MGM,” Kops said. “I’ve worked alongside them for years, so I know it would be impossible without them here. Their efforts have been crucial to the success of our films, and we’re thrilled to have them in their new positions.”

Nathin Solomons has been with MGM for more than eight years, most recently as VP of East Coast publicity, where she has overseen all New York-based publicity and related operations.

Bernstein, who joined MGM five years ago, oversees U.S. film publicity campaigns. He previously worked as a senior publicist and national publicity director at New Line, with Rogers & Cowan and at Orion Pictures Corp.
