Keith LeGoy, senior VP of sales, Europe, at Sony Pictures Television Intl. (SPTI), has been named managing director, Latin America, for the company. LeGoy will relocate from London to Miami.
Dorien Sutherland, who has held the Latin America managing director post at SPTI since March 1994, is leaving the company to pursue other interests while continuing to consult with SPTI during the transition period, which will conclude in early July.
“Keith’s track record at SPTI clearly reflects his business acumen, management and leadership skills as well as his ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. His most recent efforts have led to significant improvements in our licensing business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and he is well prepared to assume this new leadership role,” said SPTI prexy Michael Grindon.
John McMahon, SPTI’s senior exec VP and managing director, Europe, will assume LeGoy’s current European sales duties in London until a successor is named.
LeGoy has served in his current post at SPTI since June 1999. Prior to joining SPTI, LeGoy was VP of sales, Europe, for Walt Disney Intl.
