KTTV has renewed veteran 10 p.m. news anchor Christine Devine’s contract for another year.
Devine, who’s snagged seven local Emmy noms during her run at KTTV, joined the Fox station in 1990 as a weekend anchor and general assignment reporter. Two years later, she was upped to weekday anchor.
In addition to her anchor duties, Devine spearheads the weekly segment “Wednesday’s Child,” which profiles children in foster care looking to be adopted.
“Basically I grew up at KTTV,” Devin said. “I feel blessed to work for a station that supports my doing community service to the point where I get to do a story per week on it.”
Prior to joining KTTV, Devine was a morning anchor at KZOA in Tuscon.
