Kelly Ripa is about to become even more animated. The “Live” co-host has joined the cast of the toon feature “Delgo” from Fathom Studios.
Ripa is providing the voice of the handmaiden and best friend of the film’s female protag, Princess Kyla. The 3-D CGI film follows the fantasy adventures of Kyla and Bogardus, youths from different races on a planet facing extinction.
Others signed to voice the project, which still has about a year’s worth of work before completion, include Jennifer Love Hewitt, Val Kilmer, Michael Clarke Duncan, Chris Kattan and Burt Reynolds.
Ripa stars this fall in the ABC laffer “Hope and Faith,” kicking off Sept. 26.
