Hannigan to play recruit at police academy

Move over, Demi Moore: Alyson Hannigan is cozying up to your man — sort of.

The “American Wedding” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star has signed on to appear in at least two episodes of Fox’s comedy hit “That ’70s Show.” Hannigan will play a new recruit in the police academy where Kelso — played by Moore’s main squeeze, Ashton Kutcher — is also enrolled.

Role reps Hannigan’s first major TV commitment since “Buffy” wrapped its run last spring. Thesp, repped by Innovative and Lovett Management, has appeared in all three of the “American Pie” pics, along with features such as “Boys and Girls” and “Dead Man on Campus.”
