Network takes a second chance on thesp

Jeff Goldblum is taking another run at the small screen, inking a talent holding and development deal with NBC.

Peacock will look to develop a series project for the actor or cast him in an existing project. Network last worked with Goldblum on the failed drama pilot “War Stories,” which was later turned into a telepic.

NBC development prexy Kevin Reilly said Goldblum can “bring a lot of personality to a TV show.”

“He’s got his own unique persona in everything he does,” he said. “He just pops on camera, and he’s the kind of guy you can like and root for.”

Goldblum most recently appeared in the critically hailed feature “Igby Goes Down.” He’s filming “Life Aquatic” for director Wes Anderson and is set to star in the Showtime telepic “Spinning Boris.”
