Booth coin to help build care facility

The Actors’ Fund of America received a $2 million donation, its largest gift ever from an individual, from philanthropist Lillian Booth to support its Nursing Home & Assisted Living Care Facility in Englewood, N.J. The facility has a capacity of 109.

The org said it will rename the Actors’ Fund Homes in her honor in a dedication ceremony to take place at the Fund’s annual Edwin Forrest Day on April 23. Half of the gift will be used to create the Lillian Booth Endowment.
