Blair Underwood is attached to voice Nick at Nite’s frosh animated series “Fatherhood,” based on Bill Cosby’s 1986 bestseller.
Cosby will exec produce the series, scheduled to premiere in January, along with Charles Kipps and David Brokaw. Each half-hour seg will take a comic stab at the challenges, life lessons and comical confusions of family life.
Underwood will voice the main character, Dr. Bindlebeep, a high school teacher, loving husband and father of three.
Underwood, whose film credits include “Full Frontal” and “Malibu’s Most Wanted,” this summer will romance a leading lady in four episodes of “Sex & the City.” He also stars in feature “How Did It Feel?”
