20th Century Fox Licensing and Merchandising is expanding its operations, with two new veepees.
The company has promoted TV marketing exec Amy Lorbati to VP of worldwide television promotions, and tapped business development exec Greg Suarez for the newly created position of VP, interactive. They report to exec VP Peter Byrne.
Lorbati handles global responsibility for all licensed third-party promotions for Fox skeins including “The Simpsons,” “24” and “The Bernie Mac Show” with promotional partners such as Burger King, Reebok and Pepsi. She will now take on the licensing of Fox properties for themed entertainment ventures, including theme parks and shopping malls.
She has been with 20th since December 2000 as director of worldwide promotions.
Suarez assumes global responsibility for originating and executing long-term interactive entertainment strategies. He’ll work with game developers and publishers on all future Fox properties, as well as manage current publisher partnerships.
He joins the company from Acclaim Entertainment, where he served as VP of business development. He has also held positions with Sega of America, Electronic Arts, Activision and the Learning Co.
