Fox falls for summer ‘Love’ on Mondays

Net to roll out show with 'Hotel Paradise'

Fox has added another element to its summer lineup, skedding the half-hour unscripted anthology skein “Anything for Love” on Monday nights.

Endemol USA-produced “Love” will feature a mix of segments, from wacky blind dates to tear-jerking reunions of ex-lovers. Paul Buccieri is exec producing the project, which has been in the works at Fox for some time (Daily Variety, July 30, 2002.)

Fox plans to roll out “Love” with back-to-back original episodes at 8 and 8:30 p.m. on Monday, June 16. That’s the same night net unveils summer tentpole “Hotel Paradise.”

Eight episodes of “Love” have been ordered. For now, Fox plans to double-pump “Love” on Mondays through July, but in success, net could easily order additional segs.

Mark Walberg (“Temptation Island”) and Claudia DiFolco are hosts for “Love.”
