VH1 has presented Tracy McGraw with vice president stripes, upping her in the communications department.
Channel also announced that consultant Brett Henne has come aboard as director of corporate communications. Both McGraw and Henne will report to Laura Nelson, senior vice prexy of VH1 Communications.
McGraw will oversee channel’s program publicity teams and special programming events, such as “VH1 Divas Duets” and “Big in 2003.” She joined the channel in 1997, and during her tenure as a director of communications, she was involved in the campaigns for “Behind the Music” and “VH1/ Vogue Fashion Awards.”
Before joining VH1, McGraw was a senior publicist at CBS, where she promoted skeins such as “Cybill” and “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.”
Henne will head day-to-day corporate communications for VH1 and its digital channels. Before joining the network, he was an independent consultant with clients including Court TV, Lifetime and VH1. Prior to that, Henne was director of corporate communications for Lifetime.
