Show will be part making-of feature, part live performance
Justin Timberlake continues to be in synch with CBS.
Pop crooner has signed on to host the Eye’s March 25 Celine Dion spec “Celine in Las Vegas… Opening Night Live,” which will offer a behind-the-scenes look at Dion’s multimillion-dollar Caesars Palace spectacular. Timberlake will gab with celebs attending the premiere and offer a tour of the facility especially built for Dion’s show.
Timberlake has been a frequent contributor to CBS specs over the past few years. In addition to singing with Dion on her 2002 Eye concert spec “All the Way,” he appeared on the net’s 60th birthday bash for Muhammad Ali and the net’s mega-rated Michael Jackson special.
The March 25 Dion program will be split between making-of packages, focusing on the production, and live performances from Dion, who’s expected to belt out “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face,” “I Surrender,” tributes to Frank Sinatra and Peggy Lee, and new single “I Drove All Night.”
Pierre Cossette is exec producing, with Ken Erlich producing and writing.
