Beyonce, Ozzy, Crow among musicians to perform
LONDON — Fashion Rocks, a one-off charity event at London’s Royal Albert Hall to be held Oct. 15, is the latest to tap into the fashion/music crossover trend with a strong lineup of pop and fashion glitterati.
Beyonce, Ozzy Osbourne, Sharleen Spiteri, Sheryl Crow, Bryan Adams, Kelis, Bryan Ferry, Robbie Williams and flamenco sensation Joaquin Cortes will perform live while models strut the catwalk dressed in creations by Giorgio Armani, Burberry, Chanel, Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, Julien Macdonald, Prada, Versace, Matthew Williamson and Yves Saint Laurent.
Elizabeth Hurley and Denis Leary will host the event held on behalf of U.K. charity the Prince’s Trust.
Event will be broadcast in primetime Oct. 18 on Channel 4 in the U.K. and by more than 70 international broadcasters. TV production company Initial, part of Endemol U.K., will produce and direct.
