Artemis inks with Koch as distrib

Label has sold over 10 million albums since '99

HOLLYWOOD — Danny Goldberg’s Artemis Records, home to Steve Earle, Warren Zevon, Russell Crowe and the Pretenders, has signed a distribution deal with Koch Entertainment.

“These are complex times of enormous change in the music industry and it is an advantage for Artemis to work with a distributor who lives with us in the indie world,” said Goldberg, chairman-CEO of Artemis.

Artemis Records has sold more than 10 million albums since its inception in 1999. Koch is the fastest-growing independent music and video company in the U.S.
