Greif-helmed production to run July 9-20

SOUTHBURY, Conn. — Lili Taylor (“Six Feet Under”) has taken a lead role in a revival of John Guare’s 1984 “Landscape of the Body,” the second mainstage production of this summer’s Williamstown Theater Festival in Williamstown, Mass.

Directed by Michael Greif (“Rent”), the production will run July 9-20. Co-starring will be Michael Gaston, Sherie Rene Scott, Jose Zuniga, Hayden Panettiere, Gabriel Millman, Kate Mara, Jonathan Fried, Stephen DeRosa and Joseph Cross.

Set will be by Allen Moyer, costumes by Candice Donnelly, lighting by Kenneth Posner and sound by Matt Burton.

“Landscape of the Body” follows WTF’s mainstage opener, “The Threepenny Opera,” directed by Peter Hunt, which will open today and run through July 6; it will be followed by “Under Milk Wood,” to be staged by Darko Tresnjak, July 23-Aug. 3.
