HOLLYWOOD — Cirque du Soleil’s newest production, “Zumanity,” will begin its run Aug. 14 at the New York-New York Hotel & Casino, becoming the third Cirque act playing in Las Vegas.
“Zumanity” is a more mature, adult-oriented show than either “Mystere” or “O,” which are in the midst of successful runs at Treasure Island and Bellagio, respectively.
New York-New York has built an 1,256-seat arena especially for “Zumanity” that features love seats and duo sofas.
The 90-minute show will blend forms of eroticism with acrobatics. Tickets, which have just gone on sale, range from $55-$75.
“Zumanity” is the 15th Cirque production since the company was founded in 1984.
