The Sundance Film Festival has announced its call for submissions for the 2004 edition, skedded for Jan. 15-25 in Park City. Completed U.S. and international features and short films will be accepted by Aug. 1 for early consideration and a reduced submission fee. Forms and eligibility information can be downloaded from www.sundance.org.
In addition to entries for the feature and short film competitions, submissions are invited for the American Spectrum, American Showcase, Frontier, Native Forum, Park City at Midnight, World Cinema and World Cinema/Documentary sidebars.
Next year’s fest will introduce the inaugural Jury Prize for Intl. Short Filmmaking for works under 30 minutes in length and with less than 50% U.S. financing.
