S.F. Fest drills ‘Dentists’

The San Francisco International Film Festival has set Alan Rudolph’s “The Secret Lives of Dentists” as its opening night film and selected Mark Decena’s “Dopamine” to close the fest.

“Dentists” stars Campbell Scott, Hope Davis and Denis Leary in an exploration of marital infidelity. “Dopamine,” a look at the science of falling in love, features John Livingston and Sabrina Lloyd. Both pics recently screened at Sundance.
